Matcha Green Tea Rice Krispies
A sweet marshmallow treat that is balanced perfectly with slightly bitter matcha!

- 15 grams butter
- 4 cups (100 ml size cups) marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- 6 cup (100 ml size cup) toasted rice cereal
In a pot melt butter on low heat
Once butter is melted, add the marshmallows and gently melt them.
When the marshmallow mixture has melted, add the green tea powder.
Mix well and as soon as the green tea powder is incorporated take off of the heat.
Add the toasted rice cereal and mix well so that the rice is coated in the marshmallow mixture.
Take out the rice cereal marshmallow mixture from the pot and press them into a mold. I just used empty plastic containers, but you can also put them into baking pans.
Let it sit to cool down. Then, take them out of the containers and cut the matcha rice krispie treats into whatever shape and size you desire!
